Standard Searching familly Johann Adam Neüfeld born in Duchy of Bavaria (Reuderwein?)

Hello,
I am looking for information on the family of Johann Adam Neüfeld (
born around 1805). His born in Duchy of Bavary in the village Reuderwein? A certain clue is the birthplace of Johann's cousin Christopher Braum born this is Niederkirch. Maybe someone of you has met these names, or knows in which archive you can find more information.

Johann And Christhoph - emigration to Poland until the 19th century. They both got married in Brok in 1832.

The locality may have been misspelled by the parish priest in Poland

I will be grateful with the Help
greetings
Olga

Hello Olga,

it seems that there is no village ‚Reuderwein’ (Reuderheim?) in Bavaria or elsewhere - at least I couldn‘t find one in Genwiki ( http://genwiki.genealogy.net/Hauptseite ), GOV ( http://gov.genealogy.net/search/index ) or Bavarikon ( https://www.bavarikon.de/places?lang=de ).

But there are several villages ‚Niederkirchen‘ in today‘s federal state Rhineland-Palatinate, one of them is ‚Niederkirchen bei Deidesheim‘ ( https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niederkirchen ).

I wonder wether ‚Reuderwein’ is a miswriting, misreading or misspelling of ‚Deidesheim‘ ?

As to Bavaria: From 1777 on the Electorate of Palatinate and the Electorate of Bavaria were combined and the Palatinate belonged to ‚Bavaria‘ up to 1946. The history of this region in detail is complicated ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_Palatinate ).

As for the churchbooks, take a look at http://genwiki.de/Die_Kirchenbücher_...alz_(1925)/085

So it would be a possibility to place your question in the forum for Rhineland-Palatinate (‚Rheinland-Pfalz‘).

I hope this is useful for you,

Konrad

Since these places seem to be in today's state of Rhineland-Palatinate you might have some luck finding them on Archion. Note that the Palatinate was protestant-reformist for the most part and not lutheran. There had been some lutherans, however.

If you know that your ancestors were lutheran, try Archion. They also have some registers of reformist churches, so you might be in luck.
This index by the national church of Speyer is in German but you can go see to which church the places you are looking for, belonged to.

As for example: I had an ancestor who moved from Oggersheim (Palatinate) to Augsburg via Munich. In Augsburg he was denoted as protestant which didn't answer the question whether he was lutheran or reformist.
I looked up Oggersheim within the index/directory from above and discovered that the lutheran church of Oggersheim was part of Frankenthal. I looked it up on Archion and couldn't find my ancestor there, from which I deduce he must've been reformist (sadly these books aren't available on Archion).

Hence: check first.

Hello Olga,

I just took a look at Genanet, this is very interesting:

Thomas Neufeld, born about 1747 in Rödersheim (!), died 07.12.1813 Niederkirchen ( https://gw.geneanet.org/lusches?lang...omas&n=neufeld )
